Water Care

Water only when soil is dry, and water sparingly in winter.

Light Care

Keep plant in a bright spot to encourage bright leaf colour and flowering, but away from direct sunlight to avoid leaf scorch. A bright east or north-facing window is best.

Temperature Care

Average room temperature should be 16°C in winter.

Humidity Care

Begonias originate from the tropics, so they love humidity. Allow good air circulation. 

Repotting Care

Repot Begonia only when root-bound, using a pot no more than two inches in diameter bigger than its current size.

Propagation Care

Take stem cuttings in spring or early summer.
